About My Campaign
The Gastrointestinal Disease Management Group (DMG) at NYU Langone Health’s Laura and Isaac Perlmutter Cancer Center is dedicated to advancing the treatment of gastrointestinal (GI) cancers through state-of-the-art clinical care, research, and education. We focus on translating the work of basic scientists into real-time therapies for patients by developing new treatments influencing therapy for GI cancers throughout the world.
This campaign will support innovative research projects with an emphasis on clinical trials and initiatives to improve the quality of life for patients undergoing treatment and living with gastrointestinal cancers. In addition to testing new medications we will be investigating factors such as sleep quality and exercise levels in patients undergoing chemotherapy. In addition, these funds will provide critical opportunities for residents and fellows to participate in training, professional development, and cutting edge research.
For questions or to learn more about our research, please contact Paul Oberstein, MD at Paul.Oberstein@nyulangone.org.
