About My Campaign
Please consider donating in memory of Zach Ellison, who passed away on May 1, 2021 from SUDEP at the age of 26. SUDEP is sudden unexpected death in epilepsy. Not much is currently known about SUDEP. It is under-researched and likely under-reported. Many families, including our own, did not know about SUDEP before we were impacted.
All donations will go to NASR (the North American SUDEP Registry, funded by FACES), a group of researchers dedicated to uncovering the risk factors, causes, and mechanisms of SUDEP with the goal of improving future epilepsy treatment and SUDEP prevention. We hope that this research will eventually prevent other families from losing a loved one to SUDEP.
