About Me

As a neuroradiologist, I aim to improve the care of children and adults who have diseases of the nervous system. As director of pediatric neuroradiology at NYU Langone Health, I oversee all pediatric and fetal neuroimaging services and closely collaborate with specialists in child neurology, neurosurgery, neuro-oncology, neonatology, maternal–fetal medicine, and neuropathology. I feel privileged to provide individualized care to patients, particularly children and young adults, and my expert opinion is frequently sought on challenging pediatric neuroimaging cases from other doctors both in the U.S. and abroad.

Besides pediatric and adult neuroimaging, I perform a wide array of image-guided procedures, including biopsy of spine or head and neck lesions, cerebrospinal fluid leak workup and treatment, known as a blood patch, and pain management, including image-guided epidural or facet steroid injections, among others.

I have received numerous recognitions and awards, authored or coauthored numerous research articles, and served as a reviewer or a member of editorial board on multiple scientific journals. Most recently, I was selected as the editorial fellow of the American Journal of Neuroradiology, and as the International Visiting Professor for East Asia on behalf of the American Society of Neuroradiology.
