As a neurologist at NYU Langone Neurology Associates, I see adults who have general neurologic or neuromuscular disorders, such as peripheral neuropathy, myasthenia gravis, radiculopathy, gait disorders, and nerve compression. As part of my practice, I often perform electromyography (EMG) and nerve conduction studies to aid in the diagnosis of neuromuscular conditions.

I chose to specialize in neurology because it fueled my intellectual curiosity. At the beginning of my medical training, the field had many unexplored areas. Fortunately, the pace of research has accelerated. Now, every year brings new discoveries, diagnostic options, and other ways we can help patients.

Our team at NYU Langone has long been recognized for excellence in providing world-class care. We have access to standard-of-care diagnostic facilities and other resources. For complex clinical situations, we collaborate and can refer patients to our vast network of subspecialists to provide patients with a comprehensive care plan.

Patients often come to see me with treatments they have heard or read about on the internet. An important part of my job as their physician is to provide perspective and a more complete picture of how these treatments can affect their personal health.
