At NYU Langone’s Center for Musculoskeletal Care, our departments are led by experts in the field of healthcare management, nursing, and muscular, skeletal, and joint rehabilitation. 

Gail S. Chorney, MD, Director 

Dr. Chorney is medical director of ambulatory care services at NYU Langone’s Hospital for Joint Diseases. She also oversees the physician practices for the Department of Orthopaedic Surgery. Prior to devoting her attention to the Center for Musculoskeletal Care, she practiced as a pediatric orthopedic surgeon. View Dr. Chorney’s full profile.

Erica Rajabi, MHA, Senior Administrative Director

Ms. Rajabi has more than 10 years of healthcare experience. She has presented nationally and internationally in areas such as quality, patient safety, and ambulatory care.

Heather Hamilton, Administrative Manager 

Ms. Hamilton has more than 10 years administrative management experience with an expertise in human resources to encourage continuous improvement, helping to advance standards of excellence within healthcare.

Mary Gribbin, RN, MSN, MBA, Nursing Director, Nursing and Clinical Staff

Ms. Gribbin has more than 20 years of leadership experience, specifically with the ambulatory and musculoskeletal patient populations.  

Debbie Newman OTR, MA, Site Director for Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, and the Sports Performance Center

Mrs. Newman has 20 years of experience working specifically with the orthopedic and sports population.

Nicole Nieves, Practice Manager, Joint Replacement Center (Adult Reconstructive Services) and Physiatry

Mrs. Nieves has more than 10 years of academic administrative experience, with a dedicated focus on patient satisfaction.

James Gildea, MPH, Practice Manager, Sports Medicine Center

A former emergency medical technician, Mr. Gildea has nearly a decade of hospital operations experience and uses his Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification to help the practice operate more efficiently. 

Amy Lanzilotta, Practice Manager, Rheumatology and Infusion

Mrs. Lanzilotta has nearly a decade of experience helping rheumatology and infusion patients access the resources they need to have a high-quality and pleasant healthcare experience.

Ranit C. Shriky, Research Director, Peter D. Seligman Center for Advanced Therapeutics

Ms. Shriky has served as research director of the Peter D. Seligman Center for Advanced Therapeutics since 2001 and is chairman of the Lupus Foundation of America, New Jersey Chapter Board of Directors.

Vlada Kishko, Radiology Manager

Ms. Kishko has 12 years of radiology administrative experience and is dedicated to patient safety and satisfaction.

Janelle Vanacore, Practice Manager, Spine Center

Ms. Vanacore specializes in patient care and brings her experience working with physical and occupational therapy, athletic training, and treatment in the psychiatric setting to her work with spine and pain management patients.
