Joint Replacement Center

The starting point for addressing degenerative conditions of the hip or knee is the Joint Replacement Center at NYU Langone Orthopedic Center. We also offer access to our highly skilled orthopedic surgeons.

We offer state-of-the-art radiology and X-ray services that are easily accessible to you and your physician at our NYU Langone Radiology—NYU Langone Orthopedic Center, allowing for a seamless process when imaging is needed for diagnosis or evaluation.

Minimally Invasive Joint Replacement

Minimally invasive orthopedic surgery refers to a set of techniques that surgeons use to reduce the impact on muscles, bones, and skin during the procedure. These include minimal incision, muscle sparing, and minimal bone removal techniques.

Our total joint replacement surgeons are extremely experienced in these techniques and work with the latest technology and equipment in our specialized orthopedic operating rooms. They use their expert judgment in planning the surgery and during the procedure to meet the primary goal: addressing a patient’s joint problem and giving them the best possible outcome.
