175 years that transformed medicine.
Here’s to another 175 years of innovation and excellence.
NYU School of Medicine has fostered major medical breakthroughs: the introduction of modern public health standards, the discovery of the polio vaccine, revolutionary insights in genetics, and so much more. But of all the transformations that happen on our campus, we take the most pride in the growth of our students.
At the School, you pushed yourself to be the best you could be. And then you went on to improve healthcare and patients’ lives. That’s why we’re dedicating our 175th anniversary to you and all of our alumni—the generations who arrived as ambitious and talented young men and women, and left as physician leaders. In the months to come, we’ll share more information about how we plan to mark the occasion. We hope you’ll join us.
